Dry Needling

Dry needling is a procedure to relieve pain from trigger points( a tight band of contracted muscle) through out the body that cause muscles to tighten resulting in pain. This pain may be localized or referred pain to other areas of the body such as sciatica pain radiating down the leg. Trigger points form a knot that can be relieved with very fine acupuncture needles that are inserted into the muscles and manipulated to allow the muscle to relax.
